Mother’s Day

This is the card I made for my beautiful, wonderful mom on Mother’s Day – I took the opportunity to get in some more practice with my colored pencils. I couldn’t ask for a better mom, and I can’t even begin to imagine facing the world without her. She is the brightest of lights in an otherwise often unbearably dark world. I love and appreciate her beyond words.

Happy Mother’s Day!

  1. You have so many talents! Beautiful! Your mom seems very sweet and a great support for you–I’ve seen her comments on your blog. Speaking from experience, I have no idea how I’m still alive after 12 years with no support–my next post alludes to that and my so-called mother. I believe with all my heart that supportive family and friends can make life with a debilitating disease a lot easier (and vice versa). Even if they just have some interest in your life, it prevents chronic isolation, which is so terrible. I’m so happy that you have a mom who cares and supports you and you don’t have to deal with any of that garbage! :)
