Beautiful BC

First off I’ll quickly apologize for the lack of new blog posts this last little while. I’ve been going through one of my insomnia phases and instead of running the risk of saying writing something completely insane or stupid I decided to wait until I had gotten some sort of sleep. There, now that that’s out of the way here’s the latest.

I love, love, love photography. I love looking at other people’s work and I love taking pictures. I don’t have a very good camera (I think it was like 150$?) and would love an expensive one that’s better quality but none the less I still love to take pictures just for the pure enjoyment of it. I live in a beautiful town in British Columbia so there are no shortages of nice spots to check out.

First off just to get it out of the way and reinforce the typical Canadian stereotpye I’m going to post a picture of a beaver that I happened upon while walking along the river bank an hour or so ago. I’d post a picture of my igloo and the polar bear I ride to the store too but I’ve seemed to misplace them so I’ll have to do that another time.

Yes, I'm Canadian. Yes, it's a beaver.

Every single year there's a little road loop going under this bridge that floods. I've always found water fascinating and beautiful so it was a perfect spot to go for a walk and snap some pictures. Some people are even brave (or senseless) enough to try to drive through the road even with the water.

This is an antique water wheel that's up on Front Street beside the river. One of my favorite things about this town is the history behind it.

A piece of one of the many flower gardens all over the city.
